This intoxicating duo will delight in taking you into their dreamlike, whimsical, and musical universe during a tasting, accompanied by Philippe Seignez on the piano. You will savor the many facets of the château’s future whiskies, taking the time for a slow tasting, colored with poetry, stories of people and terroir, vibrant with emotions to the rhythm of the piano and songs. This authentic experience will delight your taste buds, heart, and mind !

Family Workshop
Introduction to Taste – History of Cereals
From the age of 7, young investigators will become detectives, geographers, historians, and tasters, aiming to discover 8 different types of cereals. A fun and educational workshop to gain a better understanding of the world of cereals.
Price: €18 – Including taxes per person (starting from 7-8 years old).
The workshop is available for a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 15 participants. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult who will also pay for the workshop. All adults accompanying children must pay the workshop fee. The price includes: self-guided tour of the castle (with a treasure hunt for children) and the introduction to taste workshop.

Whisky & Cheese Workshop
Demystify whisky and elevate it with our favorite cheeses. That’s the key concept of this unique and gourmet workshop. After a mandatory visit to the inner workings of our distillery, allow yourself to be surprised by the unexpected flavors born from daring pairings! A delightful moment of sharing around a beautiful plate featuring 4 cheeses and 4 French whiskys.

This workshop is for those who thought they didn’t like spreading! A 100% local terroir experience. After a tour of various production areas, we will share a delightful moment of savory delights guided by four French whiskies elevated by your sandwiches !

Whisky Workshop “French Whisky Tour”
After touring the various production areas (malt house, distillery, and aging cellar), you will embark on a sensory journey through the tasting of 6 “gems” of whiskys from the regions of our beautiful country, sourced from the finest French distillers. An introduction to whisky tasting techniques in a gentle and enjoyable manner.

World Tour Workshop “100% Single Grain”
After a tour of the various production areas (malt house, distillery, and aging cellar), you will be introduced to sensory analysis and whisky tasting techniques through the exploration of 6 different whiskys crafted from unique 100% cereal recipes: Petit épeautre de Provence, Barley, Corn, Rye, Rice, and Buckwheat. A true initiatory journey into the taste of whiskys from around the world!

Workshop “Create your Own Blend !”
Come and experience a unique and privileged opportunity alongside the castle’s oenologist. After exploring the various production areas (malt house, distillery, and aging cellar), you will have the incredible opportunity to step into the shoes of a master blender. You will be guided in tasting and crafting your own recipe. You will leave with your own creation at the end of the workshop!

Built on rocky promontories, the Château du Barroux and the Château de Suze la Rousse are both spectacular medieval fortresses with 900 years of history!
Links between both castles are the similar philosophy and vision in their projects : highlight the history of the sites thanks to the local agricultural heritage: the vines and wines of the Côtes du Rhône for Suze and the einkorn of Haute Provence regarding the Château du Barroux.
Each year, the University of Wine offers more than a hundred professional training courses on all themes: viticulture, oenology, tasting techniques, sensory analysis, management of wine estates, sommelier, etc The University of Wine also welcomes a large public of amateurs and tourists in multiple courses organized on weekends or in summer.
